TOKYO, JAPAN – January 25, 2019 – At JAEPO 2019, exA-Arcadia revealed what the actual exA-Arcadia hardware and software cartridges will look like at release. With a smaller footprint than all current arcade hardware on the marketplace, the exA-Arcadia motherboard is powerful yet compact. Game titles are provided on small form factor cartridges for easy handling and storage. Each exA-Arcadia motherboard supports up to 4 simultaneous games in 1 unit to maximize arcade operator income. Games can be updated via connecting to the internet but connectivity is not necessary to operate any title.
Limited Edition units for individuals were also displayed with G.rev’s Strania EX due to receive this treatment on launch and will be produced in highly limited amounts.
Release date for the hardware and initial set of games has been set for Q2 2019 in Japan with distribution details to be forthcoming.
