exA-Arcadia Ranks Top 3 in Japanese Operator Revenue

TOKYO, JAPAN – March 1, 2020 – Amusement Journal, the leading arcade industry publication in Japan, reports that exA-Arcadia is ranked Top 3 in Japanese Operator Revenue for 3 months in a row.

Since the release of the exA-Arcadia platform in November 2019, Aka & Blue Type-R, the original shooting game from Tanoshimasu, has blazed through the national arcade income rankings as researched by Amusement Journal. For 3 months in a row, exA-Arcadia has exceeded revenue from rival manufacturer platforms NESiCAxLive 2 from Taito (ranked 5th) and APM3 from Sega (ranked 13th) as well as surpassing Capcom’s Street Fighter V showing that their is indeed operator demand for both the shooting genre and a disruption for the forced revenue share business model employed by current Japanese incumbents.

Unlike all other Japanese manufacturers, exA-Arcadia features no forced revenue share model or network infrastructure plans. Operators simply buy the hardware platform and software then make 100% of their inbound revenue. exA-Arcadia operators in Japan have already recouped their initial investment in a matter of months as opposed to years for competing products and are now making pure profit. With dozens of creative partners and over 25 announced titles for release in 2020, exA-Arcadia is poised to revitalize the industry in Japan and the world over. Stay tuned for more information on upcoming game releases and location tests.
